Some products also contain TREE NUTS (such as almonds, hazelnuts, and pistachios). All chocolates are produced in a kitchen that also handles PEANUTS, WHEAT (GLUTEN), EGG, and SESAME, so they may contain traces of these allergens. Please check the ingredients listed on each product page before purchasing.

At Vellure Chocolatiers, we take great pride in the quality of our handcrafted chocolates. As our products are made with care using premium ingredients, customer satisfaction is our priority.

Returns

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns on chocolates unless they are:

• Damaged during delivery

• Incorrectly supplied

• Faulty or defective upon arrival

Personalised or custom-made products cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or there is an error on our part.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

When contacting us, please include:

• Your order number

• A description of the issue

• Clear photographs of the product and packaging

This allows us to investigate and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

During warmer months, we take extra care when packaging our chocolates. However, we cannot be responsible for melting caused by parcels being left in direct sunlight, in a safe place, or uncollected after delivery.

Refunds

If your claim is approved, we may offer one of the following:

• A full refund

• A partial refund

• A replacement product

• Store credit

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

Order Cancellations

Standard Orders

Orders may be cancelled before they have entered production or been dispatched. If your order has already been prepared or shipped, we may be unable to cancel it. 

Personalised Orders

Once production has begun on personalised or bespoke chocolates, cancellations and refunds cannot be accepted. 

Delivery Issues

Please ensure that your delivery address is correct before placing your order. 

We cannot be held responsible for deliveries delayed or lost due to:

• Incorrect delivery information

• Failed delivery attempts

• Circumstances beyond our control, including courier delays or severe weather

Processing Time

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 working days. During busy periods, including Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, and other seasonal events, processing times may be slightly longer.

UK Delivery

We ship throughout the UK using trusted courier services. Delivery options and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.

Please note that delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may occasionally be affected by factors outside our control.

Warm Weather

Chocolate is sensitive to heat. During warmer weather, we may use insulated packaging and cooling packs when necessary to help protect your order during transit.

We recommend bringing your parcel indoors as soon as possible after delivery and storing your chocolates in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Delivery Address

Please ensure your delivery address is correct before placing your order. We cannot be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect address details.

If There's a Problem

If your order arrives damaged or you believe there is an issue with your delivery, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your parcel. Include your order number and photographs of the packaging and products so we can investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Collection

If you have selected local collection, we'll contact you once your order is ready for pickup.
